German for Specific Purposes

Even if you can communicate in German rather confidently and accurately, you may still encounter situations when you need much specialised skills in German to achieve a specific goal. In such a case the General German programme may not be sufficient to meet the specific needs of learners.

ILTC offers specialised language programmes including Business German and preparation courses for international language exams - KDS, ZD, ZMP, and ZOP.

International language exams

Internationally recognised language exams are becoming more and more popular with learners of English. Some need an internationally recognised language qualification for studies or work abroad; others take these exams to hone their language skills, or to build a successful career in Moldova. A good preparatory course is the right route to the good exam results.

ILTC offers a preparation course for the certificate Zertifikat Deutsch, an internationally recognized exam of German language ability. The exam preparation course Tangram Z is suitable for a level of ability equivalent to level B1 on the Common European Framework of Reference scale. This course offers great opportunities to extend or refresh grammar, vocabulary and conversation skills on the B1 level on the Common European Framework of Reference scale as well as develop the skills necessary to pass the Zertifikat Deutsch exam successfully.

Business German

It's obvious that your business results will depend not only on the number of business terms you know but mostly on how well you can understand and feel your business partner when you are on the same wavelength. Even the most experienced interpreter will not be of much help when you have to make an extremely important business decision. That is why any business person should have a thorough knowledge of Business German.

Business German programme at ILTC will suit the specific needs of any business person or professional.

The well-reputed Business German course Dialog Beruf is suitable for all those who wish to acquire the German language skills needed for work and business environment.

The specific objectives of Business German are:

· to enrich students' key business vocabulary;

· to develop and enhance the communication skills in various business life situations (interviews, negotiating, making presentations, participating in trade fairs and conferences);

· to improve the academic writing skills (e.g. writing a CV).

On successfully completing the course the students will be proficient enough to take the internationally- recognised examination Zertifikat Deutch fur den Beruf (meaning Certificate in German for Business), which tests the level of German language ability for business and professional purposes. This exam is a B2 level exam according to the Common European Framework of Reference.
